Zenith gives 7 million for Lucio17-09-2010 |
Russia's Zenit St Petersburg gives 7,000,000 euros to attract during the January transfer window Inter defender Lucio.
According itasportpress.it Zenit coach Luciano Spalletti told the team bosses Brazilian national as its first transfer order and they are ready to provide him.
It is not known however whether Inter coach Rafa Benitez and Inter chiefs will agree to part with Lucio, who is a solid holder Giuseppe Meazza after the transfer from Bayern Munich last summer.
It was one of Brazil's major players in Jose Mourinho in his march to a historic treble last season.
The contract of 32-year-old Lucio expires in 2012 and this may persuade the defender to put Inter in Zenith in January 2011 against a proposed seven million euros.
