Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko commented on the changes in Ferrari management.
Mattia Binotto left the post of head of Ferrari at the end of the season, his place from January 9, 2023 will be taken by Frederic Vasser:
In the case of Ferrari, I didn`t quite understand this replacement. In my opinion, Binotto is very good both as an engineer and as a politician. He was simply overloaded with too many tasks. It would be enough to appoint a strong specialist as sporting director to help Binotto with work on the track and with strategy. And with the arrival of a new person who will also take on many different responsibilities, Ferrari`s position will only weaken.
Marco also agreed that in light of numerous changes in the management of several teams, Red Bull and Mercedes will occupy the strongest positions in the new season, largely due to stability:
